Adult Tennis Classifications Which One is Right for You?
Evaluations are complimentary and mandatory for all participants in our racquet
programs. This assures the best instruction and level of play. To schedule an

Beginner represented by *
This player:
- Is new to the game of tennis
- Has very limited experience or has never played tennis before
Intermediate represented by **
This player:
- Has played some tennis, but needs instruction on basic techniques
- Is learning to keep the ball in play, but needs to improve court positioning and consistency
- Can play singles or doubles, but needs to develop net play and basic tactics
Advanced Intermediate represented by ***
This player:
- Has begun to hit with power, spin, depth, and control
- Has dependable strokes, but lacks depth and variety
- Lacks consistency when trying for power
- Effectively uses the serve as a weapon
- Can move into a net position with some success in singles and doubles
Advanced represented by ****
This player:
- Successfully executes all strokes, has good shot selection, and court awareness
- Is developing the use of lobs, overheads, approach shots, and volleys
- Is seldom out of position when playing singles or doubles
Tennis Drill and Play Clinic
Program Directors: Clay Bibbee, Rich Reyes and John Lerch
Features of Tennis Drill and Play:
- Meet once a week for 2-hours (1 hour instructional clinic, 1 hour doubles play)
- Total of 24 hours on-court instruction
- Play takes place on one of the 12 indoor courts
- Evaluations need to be placed in appropriate level
Focus is on:
- Serve
- Ground Strokes
- Volleys
- Return of Serve
- Styles and Strategy
Rates and Times for Tennis Drill and Play Clinic:
Three 12-week sessions offered:
Session 1: Monday, September 8 Sunday, December 7
Session 2: Monday, December 8 Sunday, March 8
(Session 2 - Instructional clinics do not take place the week of Thanksgiving, November 24 November 30; the following weeks off for Holiday Break, December 22 December 29; December 29 January 4)

Rates:
Full Member $15.00 per hour or $360.00 per 12-week session
Seasonal Member $20.00 per hour or $480.00 per 12-week session
Non-Member $35.00 per hour or $840.00 per 12-week session
Cancellation Policy:
• Clinics are fully non-refundable, once clinics have started.
• Cancellations before the clinics start, a $100 cancellation fee applies.
• CAC does not offer make ups for our tennis programs.
